• Large red cacti can now be found in the desert; they can be exploded with exploding barrels for loot.

  • Sable, the infiltrator who offers the Crystal Activation Cart quest, now offers an Ethereal Emberfang mount for 10 quest tokens.

We’ve revamped the disarm mechanics for thieves! Here’s how it works now:

When a thief attempts to disarm their victim, the system will first target the victim’s weapon. If the weapon is insured or blessed, it will be skipped. The thief will then randomly attempt to disarm an item from any other equipped slot, including Head, Chest, Legs, Left Hand, Cloak, Necklace, Mask, and Ring. If an item in a targeted slot is insured or blessed, the system will skip it and move on to another slot until an eligible item is found or all options are exhausted.

If the thief successfully disarms an item from their victim, they can immediately follow up with a blind steal attempt. This steal will automatically take the disarmed item, giving thieves a rewarding payoff for a successful disarm.

As part of our ongoing efforts to make hunting more fun and challenging, we’ve updated another key area:

Hedge Maze

  • The undead that once roamed these corridors have been driven out.
  • Daemons, Hell Hounds, Fire Gargoyles, and Fire Imps now hold dominion here.
  • At the maze’s center, the fearsome Balron—among the most powerful daemons—has returned to Sosaria.

We hope you enjoy these changes and look forward to hearing your feedback as we continue to improve the game world!

The chance to fish up rare items in the weekly safe dungeon has been reduced, while it has been increased in the daily dungeon; normal dungeons remain unchanged.

  • New loot has been added to MIBs.

  • Summoners’ Dark Guardians and Strange Gazers stats have been adjusted to improve overall balance.

  • Some improvements have been made to the Fowl Frenzy event: exploding barrels now have a larger range, killing chickens and turkeys no longer counts as killing orcs, and Nuke will now decay in 2 hours instead of 1 hour.

Mining and lumberjacking will now only have a chance to drop little rocks, golden apples, and rare decorative mushrooms. When ore elementals and reapers are killed, they will now give players a chance to receive large, heavy items like Britannia crystals and weapon caches.

Bulk order deeds weight have been adjusted from 5 down to 1.

Thank you all for the feedback.

This is just a brief announcement with regards to the notice of Legends of Aria Classic sunsetting. At this time, this does not affect Shards of Britannia and we will continue to operate unless otherwise notified.

For full transparency, work on moving to our own login server is almost complete. We'll announce more when we are closer to that goal.

Just to repeat again - we do not expect any impact on Shards of Britannia from the announcement that Legends of Aria is sunsetting. We are sad to see the project come to an end as it is the foundation of everything we have built here with Shards of Britannia, and we wish Supreem and co all the best for the future.

  • Players can now purchase an ethereal parrot mount inside Britain Bank; it will cost 300 Fowl Frenzy Feathers. While mounted on the parrot, players have a chance to receive some unique loot when killing Fowl Frenzy monsters.

  • New assets for various monsters have been added to the game.

  • Thief coins are no longer considered blessed.

  • When mounted, players will experience a decreased chance of successfully stealing from monsters.

Grandmaster blacksmiths can now craft a Masterwork Catalyst—a special item that upgrades normal magical gear (weapons, armor, and instruments) to exceptional quality. Required ingredients drop in small quantities from certain monsters, with higher-difficulty foes increasing your odds.

Gather the materials, unleash the catalyst, and elevate your equipment to new heights!

Puzzles are slowly being added into the game Dungeons. The passageway into Despise level 5, where the troll boss is located, is now fully operational with a new puzzle. The boss's loot has been greatly improved, with new items including Talismans. New traps will activate in some locations when bosses are spawned, aiming to create more strategic, interesting, and fun boss fights.

A new puzzle entrance has been added to level 5 Despise. Once inside, players can spawn Xukundi the troll boss. His loot tables have been updated.

We’re excited to announce the start of our overworld revamp, aimed at making hunting more fun and challenging. These are only the first of many upcoming changes to overworld spawns. The first areas updated include:

  • Wind Mountain Area

    • Harpies that previously spawned alongside drakes have been moved to an area outside Covetous.
    • Fire Elementals and Dragons now spawn alongside the drakes, offering a tougher challenge.
  • Yew Peninsula (NW of Shame)

    • This region has been overrun by the undead.
    • The ruins once inhabited by Lizardmen are now guarded by Liches and Lich Lords with hordes of weaker undead roaming the area.

We hope you enjoy these changes and look forward to hearing your feedback as we continue to improve the game world!
