🏰 A Royal Proclamation from Lord Reginald of Britannia 🏰

Loyal citizens, hear ye!

In an effort to cleanse our fair realm of both crime and unseemly waste, Lord Reginald proudly announces a new rehabilitation initiative for the wayward souls of Britannia. Those whose hands have been stained with blood now have a chance to cleanse their sins—both metaphorically and literally!

  • The Program: Convicted murderers may reduce their criminal standing by performing an essential public service: collecting 50 pieces of feces from the streets of any town within Britannia. A noble act of penance, this will not only aid our sanitation efforts but also grant these lost souls the opportunity to reclaim their honor.

  • The Reward: Upon successful completion, one murder charge shall be forgiven, allowing the reformed to walk a step closer toward redemption in the eyes of Britannia. This task may be undertaken once every 24 hours.

  • Where to Begin: Those seeking to participate should seek out Lord Reginald in the town of Paws and pledge themselves to this task.

Britannia thrives on justice — but it also values redemption. Let this be a lesson that even the most wretched can find their way back to the light!

Signed,

🏰 Lord Reginald of Britannia

We're currently experiencing issues with one of our servers. We will provide updates as soon as we have more information.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

  • We have removed the sound effects from the water fountains. Please relog for this change to take effect.

  • You can now use Exploding Barrels to blow open a wider variety of objects throughout the world, revealing loot inside. Happy exploring!

Unfortunately due to a data integrity issue, we have had to roll back to the last known good save at 01:30 UTC. We apologise for this inconvenience, however if we had not done this, there would have been data loss for various players.

Thank you for your understanding.

  • Talismans with charges will unequip when logging into Britannia unless they are blessed. "A surge of protective magic in this realm has caused your charged talismans to lose their grip on you, unequipping them as you enter."

  • Drop rates for grave-digging, mining, and lumberjacking rares have been increased.

The server experienced an issue after the daily restart and it will be restored soon. Thanks for your patience!

White Wyrm Improvements

The White Wyrm, a once-feared magical beast, has struggled to compete with Dragons due to its weaker overall performance. In this update, we've enhanced its spellcasting capabilities to make it a powerful and distinct caster pet, while keeping its core stats intact.

  • White Wyrm's now casts spells from circle 1-7.
  • Increased casting frequency
  • Health pool boosted to match dragons

This is a reminder that Daylight Savings Time (DST) begins on Sunday, March 9, 2025. Clocks will be set forward by one hour, which may affect how game times, events, and restarts appear in your local timezone.

Please note that our servers operate on UTC timezone, and neither the server time nor in-game activity schedules will change with the start of DST. All events and restarts will continue to occur at the same times in UTC. However, due to the DST change, the time at which these activities appear in your local timezone may have shifted.

Since DST adjustments occur at different times in various regions, we recommend checking your local time against UTC to ensure you stay on track with event schedules.

Thank you for your attention and understanding. We look forward to seeing you in-game!

We've restarted the server to clear out some cobwebs that were lingering in the connection. The server should be back online now or within a few minutes. Sorry for the interruption and thanks for your patience!

UPDATE: The connectivity issue with users in Europe is now resolved, you should be able to log in again as normal. If you have any further connection issues please let us know, thanks for your patience!

We're currently experiencing issues with one of our providers serving the European market. Our team has submitted a detailed ticket, including specific player feedback, to expedite troubleshooting. While we're optimistic about a swift resolution, please note that it may take up to 24 hours (or longer) to fully restore service. We will provide updates as soon as we have more information.

Note: Some users have reported that connecting via a VPN from outside the affected region can serve as a temporary workaround.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

  • Faction players are now restricted from accessing the safe, no-combat area on top of Britain Bank West.
  • This change aims to ensure balanced gameplay by limiting potential safe zone exploitation.
  • The decay timer for murder counts is now more punishing initially, scaling down as your murder count increases.

  • New decay thresholds:

    • Murder Count ≥ 100: 6 hours (360 minutes)
    • Murder Count ≥ 50: 12 hours (720 minutes)
    • Murder Count ≥ 10: 24 hours (1440 minutes)
    • Murder Count ≥ 1: Default decay timer
  • These changes are designed to impose harsher penalties for smaller murder counts (making it tougher early on) while gradually reducing decay times for higher counts.
