If you encounter issues with playing the game or something inside the game, please check below for common issues and troubleshooting tips
URGENT NOTICE: If you have just installed the game and have issues logging in or staying logged in, please restart your computer and try again. Most users have found a full restart resolves post-installation issues. Contact Us if you still have issues

Common Client Issues
If you encounter the Unity Crash window with the exlamation point in the red box on the Legends of Aria logo, please check the following:
If you see "Connect Failed ... Unable to write data" this indicates an issue with Hard Disk storage space, please double check that the drive you've installed the game to has room. The game, with custom assets included, is about 12GB.
If you see "Connect Failed ... Unable to receive data" this indicates an issue with the game client not being able to access our website to download the custom assets (world map & objects). Please make sure to Allow the game in your Firewall/Antivirus if you have one running.
Avoid using the 'Legends of Aria Launcher' to play SoB, you should only load the game using the Shards of Britannia Launcher, and make sure to leave it open after the game plays
Double check that there is plenty of disk space to download game assets after loading, the game needs around 12GB total, 8GB for the base game and 4GB of downloaded custom assets
Please check the PC Requirements to be sure your computer meets the minimum requirements
Make sure your GPU drivers are up-to-date (how to: NVIDIA or AMD)
Try the Validate Files option in the launcher, this can often times resolve file corruption issues

Common SoB Launcher Issues
If you see "Unhandled exception .. Key not valid for use in specified state", this is caused by copying the SOB Launcher files to another computer. To resolve, please close the Launcher and then browse to the folder where you copied the SOB Launcher to and delete the accounts.db file
Avoid using the 'Legends of Aria Launcher' to play SoB, you should only load the game using the Shards of Britannia Launcher, and make sure to leave it open after the game plays
Please check your Anti-Virus or Firewall to make sure it is not blocking our launcher
If the launcher is stuck on verifying files and there is no tickbox to stop it, check the launcher.config file for the line skip_game_files_check=true, make sure it is set to true
Please avoid using third party apps that may interact with the game in ways not intended, they may cause problems and may even be against the rules (example: EasyLOU, LOUAM)
