• Blacksmith/Weaponsmith/Armorsmith NPCs will now carry more items for sale with differing stock selections from each other.

  • Added a barber to assist with remodelling your hair, face, everything! The first visit is free. The barber/stylist will be in Sweet Dreams Inn in Britain
  • After the next restart, the Limbo region will return. For those of you not familiar, if you are a ghost for longer than 15 minutes, you will be sent to this region. There are shrines available to resurrect you here, and then you can return to Britannia via the moongate.

An issue with Fishing erroneously saying "go outside of town for gains" when you are already outside of town has been resolved. This hotfix will be available after the next scheduled server restart.

Town NPC Changes

  • Bowyers will now sell Bows, Siege Bows, and Heavy Siege Bows.
  • Bowyers will now buy bows from players.
  • Minoc now has an Armorsmith at the Forgery, a Bowyer at Warriors' Battle Gear, and a new Jeweler Shop named Gorgeous Gems.

*Torches should now occupy the torch slot and not unequip the right hand

*Killing/stealing from someone in town and looting with another multibox character should now be prevented.

  • (Quality of Life) Players will now have Maximum Stamina after resurrecting from death in order to help with corpse runs.
  • Fixed getting stuck while tending a campfire through build stages.
  • Campfire range has been increased from 10 to 12.
  • New 'Check Fire' right-click ability added to Campfires which allows players to inspect a campfire's life duration. Useful for players micro-managing their Campfires while drawing enemies within the Campfire regen range.

The Paralyze spell now interrupts the victim's spell cast on success

The use of an invisibility potion now breaks spell casts

Skeleton Keys now properly open chests of any level regardless of lockpicking skill

Carpentry kegs have been fixed and no longer produce deeds

After next restart, Karma should be functioning properly.

  • The in-game Macro system will be disabled as we research a performance issue with the system.
  • Thank you for your continued patience as we isolate, find, and fix performance issues and bugs.
  • Murderers who repent will now need to wait 72 hours to resume hostilities.
  • Murderers will now need to pay 200 gold per long term count when resurrecting.
  • Bosses in various high level encounters have gained new tactics and reinforcements based on the number of players engaging them.
  • Fixed a bug that would sometimes cause murder participants to not receive multiple counts.
  • Ranged damage and healing will now produce more threat.
  • Combat journal will now display entries in descending order.
  • Combat journal will now only refresh when new data is available.
  • Fixed a bug causing floating damage numbers to be reported twice.

Titles should now be fixed. Upon next login, you should be granted all missing skill titles.

We are still monitoring the issue of titles switching even when "Lock Title" has been selected- if you see this issue, please report it with /bug so we are able to triage. Thanks as always for playing!

  • Ethereal statue should no longer get stuck in your pocket if you cannot mount for one reason or another; if it does somehow get stuck, logging out completely and logging back in will move it to your backpack
  • Fishing skill can no longer be gained above 70 while inside of town
  • Fishing will no longer yield anything more than basic fish or loot while inside of town
  • Plant harvesting amount has been adjusted and we will continue to improve spawns if needed
  • An issue with clicking on a news notification from the list not opening the appropriate article
  • Fixed system message showing when using runebooks referencing "a recall rune"
  • Summoned creatures should now properly decay if they have lost their owners
  • Fixed an issue with stealing from a stack causing multiple items to pile up in your inventory

  • Fixed stackables not stacking when dropping objects onto containers directly
    - Added prevention for dropping objects to healthbars, this is not intended
    - Added prevention for mounting pets you cannot control over 30 difficulty
    - Removed ability to use Stack Contents on containers within player vendors
    - Fixed some stationed guards not responding to combat
    - Added prevention for using Forensic Eval against invalid corpses, or corpses that are part of the world
    - Added Vendor Glue so vendors will stop wandering for short duration while players interact with them

The Vorpal Easter Bunny that spawns when opening an easter egg nest was not intended to be tameable and they have been updated to reflect that, and any existing tames removed. Subsequently, if you had tamed and stored one on a pet broker, the pet broker should now be updated as well. Sorry for the confusion! We'll try to be more careful about things like this in the future. grimacing

An issue was resolved with using the Restock Reagents option with town vendors, if they are sold out of one or more of the items, causing players to be charged without receiving items. Please let us know if you encounter any other issues with the vendors.

  • An issue with torches not behaving consistently has been resolved; torches have all been moved over to a new Torch slot, and a button for it added to the paperdoll
    - Attempting to purchase items from player vendors will no longer only consume gold from the bank if the purchase is over 3000gp, instead all purchases will now check bank for gold or checks
    - Speech prompts, like when setting prices with player vendors, will now automatically activate chat so you can begin typing without needing to press enter first
    - An issue with players not being able to call Guards on players that have become hidden has been resolved
    - Stealing chance bonus added for thieves with 100 Stealing, a spreadsheet with chance calculation added at https://kutt.it/ZvCqDQ
    - An issue causing pack animals to become overfilled in some cases has been resolved
    - An issue has been resolved that was allowing players to mount while hidden and continue moving while mounted & hidden
    - An issue with fishing nets having duplicate tooltips should be resolved
    - An issue with bankers spamming "Guards!" multiple times in a row when a criminal interacts with them has been resolved
    - An issue with disguised name not appearing, instead showing the character's real name in several cases has be resolved
    - The chef/cook vendors should now buy items that they sell, including apples
    - An issue with getting stuck inside of campfires when using Camping skill has been resolved
  • An issue with some players getting stuck inside of the ice fishing huts has been resolved
    - An issue has been solved with adding a large amount of potions to a keg resulting in improper amount of empty bottles being returned
    - Empty bottles have been moved out of potion recipes and instead will consume an empty bottle only upon successful crafting of a potion; this is to help solve edge cases of empty bottles not being refunded sometimes during crafting
    - An issue with mana being overly consumed when using quick-travel spells has been resolved
    - An issue with being unable to cut fish into fillets has been resolved
    - An issue with the pet broker window not re-opening after setting a price has been resolved
    - An issue with some objects not being unequipped on death has been resolved
    - An issue with some effects not ending and cleaning up properly if logging out and back in after the duration has expired has been resolved, most notably Incognito
    - An issue that would sometimes cause mobs to spawn or leash to locations on house plots has been resolved
