Next Friday, Nov 8th, at a time to be determined, we will be applying a patch that will prevent players from moving/rotating locked down objects outside the bounds of their plot. At that time, an autofix will be applied detecting any pre-existing objects that are out of the plot bounds and moving them back inside the plot to a valid position. Please note that this may not neatly move objects and you may end up with breaks in fence lines if that occurs. Please take this time to analyze any decorations you may have extending past your plot bounds/lines and please move them back so that they are not overlapping.
Additionally, with the changes to lockdown location validation, we will also be adding the Ban List and Auto-Eject for plots. This will now properly track targets banned from a plot and prevent them from re-entering. A new tab to manage the bans has also been added to the plot menu. When a target is ejected from a plot, they are put near the mailbox, which is why it is important that we no longer have interconnected plots and over-extended decorations.

- An issue with Tinkering Golems being treated as a Mage Summon preventing it from bonding with it's owner has been resolved
- The Pet Brokers had a meeting with the townspeople and in an effort to increase Pet Broker business, they have agreed to slash the price to sell pets from 10,000gp to 4,999gp with a slightly higher consignment fee from 5% to 10%

- The bank window will now close whenever you begin moving
- When a thief dies to Guard whacking, the Guards will automatically return any recently stolen items, that are trade-blocked, back to their owners
- Recently stolen items are now prevented from being placed in the bank while it is trade-blocked

Since we are about to enter a new month, and with seeing the news of even more extreme weather and natural disasters happening around the globe every week, I wanted to remind everyone of our Vacation Hold policy.
If you are in any position where you cannot get to the game for an extended time, whether it be military deployment, natural disasters, or something else please reach out to us, and we can consider your request to put your house into a Vacation Hold to prevent it from decaying in the normal timeframe.

Some of these have been in for a little while.
- Travel Markers were mistakenly removed a while ago and have now been readded, and this time all mage NPCs have one for every town.
- Full spellbooks and runebooks are no longer available from event token vendors and Vela in Wind; this was forcing scribes to raise their begging skill.
- The portal to the shipwreck in East Valusia from Buccaneer's Den has been closed, matey! If ye wants to get onto the ship, ye will have to climb aboard the plank, ye scurvy dog!

This concludes our Week-long Power Hour event!
- Default skill gain rates have been returned to 1x
- In-house gains have been reduced to 0.5x (Gardening still uses the Default Gain Rate)
- In-dungeon gains have been increased to 1.25x
- SOON TO COME: Following some further internal testing, we will be adding a Daily Power-Hour option for all players to enjoy at their leisure. Players will be able to trigger the Power Hour every 22 hours and receive approx 1.5x rates (final rates to be determined)

It's time! Phase 1 of the new player experience includes:
- Reopening the sewers, with a sewer token system and a sewer vendor with suitable items for young players
- Sewers will be accessible by young players only
- All young players will receive a 'guidebook' in their initial player loot that guides them towards our discord, wiki and the sewers as a starting dungeon
- Young players are now safe from other players, they can't be attacked with weapons, spells or pets
- Young players can still have beneficial spells cast on them by other players
- Young players cannot heal other players unless they are also young. This includes both magery and bandages
- We now have a mechanic to limit young player access to events as required
- Note that if you attempt to attack a young player, while you won't be able to land any damage, you WILL be flagged criminal. Naughty you!
Phase 2 is still to come. It will include the promised quest system, once we are able to move to the latest CS build after steam release. It will also include a dedicated tutorial area where young players will start. More on that soon!
- On an unrelated note, we are now serving custom assets (like Covetous and the other dungeons) on a global CDN. What this means for you is downloads of new files as they are updated should be much faster.

- An issue with the spotted dick recipe crafting into a deed has been resolved. (We are aware that the art is a pie. Please do not report this as a bug.)
- The gardening grown wheat item now properly displays as wheat instead of an apple.
- The Taste Identification skill book now properly grants 30 skill points in Taste Identification.
- An issue has been resolved with the Event Token deeds for the Librarian's Bookshelf and the Librarian's Corner Bookshelf. If you have a faulty deed, please /page and we will exchange for a working deed.

- Killing a blue-named human NPC, specifically vendors in towns, will now deal murder counts
- Shadow Robes color has been corrected from bright white to charcoal (this will be dyeable with the upcoming dyes and dyetubs patch)
- There is a known issue with the Wood Cottage House's collision blocking the doorway, at this time there is no known workaround. For now they have been removed from the architect until the issue is resolved.
- Players will no longer become unhidden during on-load events such as logging in or switching regions
- Combat Log is now persistent through log-out and region-switch
- Combat Log had an added 5px of width to try and solve issue with text getting cut off at the end (please submit screenshots of any remaining issues with text getting cut off)
- Combat Log order has been reversed so that newest entries are on the top and you no longer have to scroll down periodically

- Pre-existing decorative containers in towns will now spawn loot allowing thieves to train their stealing and get a little loot in the process
Hotbars QOL Additions
- The left-side hotbar is now draggable
- Hotbars and their icons can now be locked to prevent accidental dragging
- A new Lock button has been added to the bottom-center of the MiniMap to quickly toggle hotbar options
- The Player Settings (minimap gear-icon or /settings command) now has options to toggle Locking of all of the hotbars AND their icons
Various Fixes
- Player names have been removed from backpacks, they will simply be called "a backpack" now
- Pet titles showing "Name's Pet" will now be updated periodically when the owner's name changes
- Players' current target will be cleared automatically when dying and resurrecting
- Players will now be taken out of warmode automatically when dying and resurrecting
- An issue has been resolved with Guards attacking gray and red players on sight even though they have not committed a crime recently -- now they will only kill you if you recently committed a crime or are witnessed committing a crime, and either NPCs or player calls the Guards
- An issue has been resolved with Guards attacking and killing nearby gray and red players that were not their original target
- Fixed Magic Untrap spell to work with lower level traps on containers
- Fixed range on Telekinesis breaking traps to avoid damage
- Fixed an issue with being unable to equip an item from the hotbar when the item is nested in containers in the backpack

- Bless Spell now prevents Dispel on Magery Summoned Creatures.
- This was a player recommended enhancement, as so many caster creatures cast Dispel often.
- If Players keep their Bless Buffs cycled nicely on their Mage Summons, then the Dispel spell is completely nullified in battle, but if the Bless Buff drops, your summon will be Dispelled as normal.

- Gardening: Who wouldn't want to grow their own reagents? Definitely easier said than done! The race towards Green Thumb begins, and be sure to read the Wiki for the nitty-gritty deets, and watch the tutorial video for Gardening in the Wiki!
- Camping: Discover the wonderful world of Camping with exciting Campfire Regeneration Rates, Buffed Stat Bonuses from Tents, and Classic Instant Logout features when Resting. Be sure to read the Wiki and watch the tutorial video for Camping in the Wiki!
- Hunger: Players will now be expected to eat something, occasionally, or take a -10 Stats Debuff until they are well fed. It will take approximately 10 in-game hours for a player to start feeling hungry again. Gardening produce is the most effective food at taking care of your hunger pains.
- Drugs: Old Toby enters our world as a Common plant, but it will be the gateway drug to many more rare drug plants and eventually an expanded Drug Tolerance system, so partake in moderation! You can find the Smoking Pipe for Old Toby a high price from Walter O' Mathis, the Royal Gardener at Lord British's Castle, or simply ask a GM Fletcher to make you one for a lot less.
