Thanksgiving comes to Britannia at the Saturday, November 7th 09:00 UTC restart, the same morning Halloween takes its leave, and everything opens at once, with the Long Tables set out within minutes of the restart. You can earn until December 5th, and the Cranberry Market and your rewards stay open until December 19th. Here's everything coming, and when.
📅 The Thanksgiving Timeline
- Saturday, November 7th, 09:00 UTC. Thanksgiving begins and Halloween takes its leave. The Long Tables are set out in Britain, Yew and Moonglow, Autumna Leafwhisper arrives, every account receives its Book of Thanks, and Feast Saturday Raffle tickets go on sale at every Raffle Vendor.
- Every day. Daily limits and Table Requests reset at the 09:00 UTC restart. Raiders strike the Supply Barge off Ocllo at 18:45, 20:45, 22:45 and 02:45 UTC, and Harvest Crates drift off the coast of Ocllo every hour.
- Every Saturday, from November 14th. After the 09:00 UTC restart, the week's Most Thankful Neighbours are named across the land.
- Every Sunday, 18:00 UTC. The week's heaviest Harvest Waters catch is named.
- Saturday, November 21st: Feast Saturday. The Feast Saturday Raffle is drawn at 20:00 UTC, and if the shard has filled the Long Table far enough, candles burn along every table from 20:00 to 23:00 UTC.
- Saturday, December 5th, 09:00 UTC. Earning ends as Christmas arrives.
- Saturday, December 19th, 09:00 UTC. The Cranberry Market, the Pantry and any rewards you're owed close. Cranberries never expire, so any you keep can be spent at future holiday events.
🍂 Gather at the Long Table
- The Long Table. One shared table for the whole shard, with a place at it in Britain, Yew and Moonglow. Bring food and fill it together: as the table fills, everyone who has brought their share earns a title, and if you bring plenty yourself, a Long Table Centrepiece is yours to keep.
- Autumna Leafwhisper. Your Thanksgiving host. She sends you on Autumna's Trail, hands out Thank-You Cards, gives every account a free Cornucopia Basket, and takes Feast Orders from anyone brave enough to fight for the table.
- The Hearth Pot. Autumna gives you one on her Trail. Turn a turkey and a little produce into Feast Plates. Slow cooking, but worth it.
- Table Requests. Every day the table asks for something crafted, something from the kitchen and something from the garden, and the first few of each requested item count double.
- Say Grace and the Supper Serenade. Say grace at the table, and each hour the newest grace is heard across the land, or play a song for the diners.
- Seat a Pet. Your pets are welcome at the table too, costumes and all.
- Feast Saturday, November 21st. The Feast Saturday Raffle (tickets from any Raffle Vendor) is drawn at 20:00 UTC, and if the shard has filled the table far enough, candles burn along every Long Table into the night.
🙏 Giving Thanks
- The Book of Thanks. Every account gets one. It lists every Thanksgiving activity, ticks off the ones you've tried, and rewards you for trying many different things with Cranberries and titles, all the way up to Heart of the Feast and a Guest of Honour Place Setting.
- Thank-You Cards. Thank the shopkeepers of Britannia for a few Cranberries, or thank another player and leave them glowing.
- Most Thankful Neighbour. Each week the most thanked players are named across the land and earn a title.
- Bottled Thanks. Cork a note of thanks and set it adrift, or fish up one somebody else sent.
- Welcome Back. If you've been away for a while, the Long Table saved you a few dishes.
⚔️ Hunting and Monsters
- The Turkey Trot. Wild turkeys are fair game, dropping Plump Turkeys for the table and Turkey Ammo for the cannon, and every so often one calls out something far rarer: the Golden Gobbler.
- Harvest Raiders. Wolves, harpies, rats and worse are raiding the fields outside town. Watch for the Thornback Alpha.
- Raided Harvest Camps. Raiders have made camp in the countryside. Beat the Strawman (it's not just a scarecrow), catch the Rustler before he bolts with a stolen turkey, or skip the fight and free the farmhand, open the turkey pens or dig through the root cellar (bring a shovel).
- Harvest Bundles. Smash the hay bales and corn shocks in the fields for produce, turkeys and Cranberries. Not everything that leaps out is friendly.
- Harvest Paragons. Some monsters across Britannia come dressed in autumn colours, tougher and more rewarding.
- Feast Orders. Pay Autumna gold to summon a feast-day foe: light the lanterns around Old Hollow, dodge the Granary Ettin's charge, carry grave salt to break Old Marrow's seals, or stuff Mr Gobbles with Custard Pies until his guard drops. Each one has its own titles to earn, and the Granary Ettin might even part with a Golden Plume.
⚓ On the Water
- The Supply Barge. Raiders strike a harvest barge off Ocllo at 18:45, 20:45, 22:45 and 02:45 UTC. Sail out and take it back.
- Harvest Crates. Every hour, crates of produce drift off the coast of Ocllo for sailors to haul in.
- Harvest Waters. Fish up Maple Trout, Russet Carp, Cranberry Perch and the Harvest Eel, with rare catches for skilled fishers. The heaviest catch of the week is named every Sunday at 18:00 UTC.
⛏️ Gathering, Crafting and Taming
- Harvest Bounty. Mining, chopping and skinning can turn up Wild Gourds, Maple Sap and Cranberry Sprigs for the table.
- Pilgrim's Larders. Locked pantry chests are hidden outside four towns every day. Track them down, pick the lock and mind the rats. Autumna may know where to look.
- Harvest Fish Pie. Cooks can turn the season's fish into a pie worth eating.
- Tame a Turkey. Taming a wild turkey earns its own place in the Book, and the Cranberry Market sells turkey costumes for your pets (a costumed pet might sniff out the odd Cranberry) and pet treats for the hunt.
🥧 Games
- The Pie Fight. Grab a stack of Custard Pies and head to the Green Acres arena for a free-for-all. Win outright against at least two players from other households to become Pie Champion.
- Pie Duels. Challenge a friend to a duel in any town: first to three hits wins, and three duel wins also earn Pie Champion. Pies do no damage and never get you flagged.
- The Turkey Cannon. Buy it at the Cranberry Market and load it with Turkey Ammo from wild turkeys or the Market. It fires turkeys at monsters. That's it. That's the cannon.
🛒 The Cranberry Market
- Cranberries. Hunting, fighting, thanking and many other activities pay Cranberries, and the Book of Thanks pays extra for trying different things. Spend them at the Market Steward beside each Long Table: the Turkey Cannon and its ammo, Custard Pies, Harvest-blessed cloaks, the Gobbler Mask, the Harvest Pitchfork, a Harvest Gem Book and Runebook, a Harvest Scarecrow, hay bales, autumn hedges and vines, pet cages, pet costumes and treats, and the Packed Holiday Feast Table. Seasonal bonuses only work against monsters, never in PvP.
- The Pantry. The Pantry Farmhand sells produce and Plump Turkeys for gold, for anyone who'd rather buy than hunt.
- Fair limits. Cranberries and the best rewards have daily limits shared by your household (accounts that play from the same computer or the same internet connection), resetting at the 09:00 UTC restart, so a quick evening and a long session both have plenty to earn.
Earning ends at the December 5th 09:00 UTC restart, when Christmas arrives. The Cranberry Market, the Pantry and any rewards you're owed stay open until December 19th 09:00 UTC, and like every holiday currency, Cranberries never expire, so any you keep can be spent at future holiday events.
