Since we’ve been adding many new features and not all of them warrant a dedicated news item, we’ll start providing a kind of changelog. This will take the form of a news page, initiated at the beginning of each month, where smaller changes and additions will be continuously documented (revisit this page regularly). The first changelog is for June, but it also includes some updates from May.

List of Changes

  • Vendor sales inventories updated for Fishing Token, Dungeon Token, Little Rock, and Noble Coins vendor.
  • New vendor added for Crown Jewels.
  • New wandering vendor added, who is traveling in Paws and Britain to sell rare goods for gold.
  • Buffed the Horned Beetle pet.
  • Fishing loot tables updated for moat, deep sea, ice, and dungeon fishing.
  • Tried to balance out moat fishing chances a lot (!) of times.
  • Treasure map loot tables updated.
  • Loot has been improved for: Poison Boss Elemental, Leviathan, Large Water Elemental, Dark Revenant.
  • Added a new recipe for a decorative pond and new resources to craft it.
  • Added a private bulletin board.
  • Magic Mushroom gates have been added over the world.
  • Added Smelting Scroll for Horned Beetle on donation vendor.
  • Added a Grave Dust recipe.
  • Added new mobs to Covetous: a Bone Lightning Mage, Stone Wyrm.
  • Enhanced Greater Dragons.
  • Black Market goods loot tables updated.
  • Puzzle Chest loot tables updated.
  • Faction updates: pillar events are now player-activated, overhaul of the faction bases, added faction creatures.
  • Orc guild updated and extended: system and playstyle adjustments (orcs can't use Boon, can't report murder, can't join factions), added new orc-only items they can buy from Zuma at the orc fort (Orc Drum, mounts), updated Burzum.
  • Spiders (Giant and Dread, Dread Queen) are now dyeable; spider pet dyes have been added.
  • Thief system update: pretty exciting extension which we will cover in a separate news.
  • Young player gameplay adjusted (cannot snoop, damage from traps capped at 50).
  • A ton of fixes.
  • A ton of new items.
  • Updated loot of Fishing Treasure Chests.
  • Faction mobs have been added to the faction bases. These mobs are member of the faction and are aggressive towards all non-members.
  • Thieves can now steal from Thief Hunters and always remain blue.
  • Members of the Thieves Guild can no longer access the bank roof.
  • Updated Greater Dragons' loot to align with their difficulty.
  • Thief Hunters: the "Thieves" tracking option now requires wearing the full Thief Hunter armor set and riding the Shadowstrike mount. Ensure all gear is equipped to access this category.
  • A new item has been added to the Fishing Token vendor, enjoy :-D
  • Another update of Fishing Treasure Chests loot.
  • Works have started at the Minax faction base, it will look messy for a while...
  • Faction vendor sales inventory has been updated, new items have been added.
  • Enhanced PvE stealing from humanoid monsters.
  • Smoke bombs now have a standard cooldown for all players, including thieves, unless the Thieves' Smoke Bomb Talisman is equipped. This talisman can be purchased from the Black Goods Thief Guild Master using Thieves' Coins.
  • Undead pets now properly cast their intended spells.
  • Temporary fix for the Ghost Blade issue.
  • Resolved a bug with the Ripper mount where skill requirements were being ignored.
  • Increased the chance of MiBs in dungeons and deep water
  • Fixed a bug allowing Faction, Thieves, and Thief Hunter players to go onto the Brit bank roof
  • Thief traps have been updated to attack Thief Hunters in addition to targeting horses and carts, and they can be used in town, though they will not work on horses and carts in town. These traps decay after five minutes and have a five-minute cooldown before another can be placed, dealing 50 damage and applying a two-second stun to Thief Hunters.
  • We have deployed a change to address a bug where the Necromancer spell Noxious cloud could cause the heal ticks to be stuck forever. You or your pet will now require to be inside the noxious field in order to keep receiving heals, otherwise it will expire.
  • Undead pets now properly cast their intended spells.
  • Temporary fix for the Ghost Blade issue.
  • Resolved a bug with the Ripper mount where skill requirements were being ignored.All players in the winning faction from the pillar events will receive 10 faction coins as well as the usual amount of silver.
  • The player with the most points at the end of the pillar event will have a chance to win a treasure chest filled with faction goodies!
  • Volatile Exploding barrels that detonate near murderers and criminals can now be locked down by double-clicking.
  • Bone lightning mages now give a chance to drop rare items at the Exploding Well events.
  • We have removed two pillars from each Faction Pillar Event, so players will now compete for a single pillar. We can adjust this if the population increases.
  • (Not new but maybe not broadly known): Added a speech command to join a faction. To join, say "i wish to join this faction" when standing in front of the gates for the corresponding faction base.

  • Chance to succeed a fishtank or pond craft has been increased (live after the server restart on the 25th of June).
  • New faction paintings for minax, shadowlords and true britannia have been added to the faction vendor (live after the server restart on the 25th of June).
  • The minax faction base has been decorated.
  • New assets have been added (sorry for the wait during the download).
