A little background on me... I grew up playing UO with my family at a young age. The game helped to keep me connected with my mom and two older brothers that lived in different places. Because of that, UO has a deep personal connection to me and it drives the passion I have for this project. We played on the Lake Superior shard for many years until all of the major changes came later like Trammel and AOS, etc.
I later found freeshards to be more my style, and wound up settling in at UO Gamers: Hybrid where I spent over 6 years playing off and on. There, I got to enjoy all of the play-styles and skills that I never had a chance to use during my time on the official shards.
When I wasn't playing on the Hybrid shard I often dabbled with UO server emulators like SphereServer and RunUO, just for fun and to experiment. I spent many hours customizing the game thanks to the large open-source communities that were/are available.

You could find almost anything you wanted already created, unlike our current project. At that time I didn't quite have the knowledge or experience to create my own content, so it was nice to have the open-source community.
I have always had an affinity with electronics and computers since a young age. I took apart computers and other stuff like VCRs and computers, to see what it looks like, how it works, and to "fix" things. Eventually I learned how to build my own desktop computer from parts bought online.
I have also always had an interest in coding, and got my start with things like UO macros and making websites for our guilds, and UO server emulation customization.
I'm a self-taught nerd with many average-level skills and I do a little bit of everything around here and wear many hats. 🤓 This project has allowed me to learn new skills and hone old skills. I learn something new every day.
Thanks for reading about me! I'm thrilled you're on this ride with us. <3
